Welcome to the home of the 2026 Bethany Camps Fundraiser!
On Saturday, May 2nd, from 4 p.m. to 7 pm at All Good Beverage Co., we invite you to join us in supporting Bethany Camps at Camp McDowell, specifically Special Session and Bethany's Kids. The evening will feature a silent auction, raffles, and storytelling, with live music from Laine Poole and Jimmy Gauld.
For close to 30 years, Camp McDowell has been the home of Special Session, a week-long camp for adults with varying levels of abilities. Over the last 10 years, with help from leadership, we have grown and now can welcome campers to come to Camp for free, all because of supporters like you! We now host a Fall Retreat where campers are able to participate in a more intentional program and reflect on what brings us together when the world feels disconnected. We provide safe and inclusive communities for all of our friends and are excited to see how your generosity can allow us to continue growing.
Bethany's Kids is a camp for kids of all abilities, ages 4th grade - graduation, & is primarily staffed by high school and college-aged counselors. As Camp McDowell's only intentionally inclusive camp session for children and youth, Bethany's Kids offers a wonderful opportunity & experience where everyone's differences melt away & we see God's Children in ALL people. Our goal at Bethany's Kids is to create a community that thrives together, despite our differences.
Every donation matters and allows us to continue our mission of inclusivity and welcoming campers for free. Our $25,000 goal will support every aspect of Bethay's Camps. We hope to include more campers, nurses, and staff so our community can better support those we serve. Your generosity allows us to create more space for people to join our loving and supportive Camp family. Thank you!
The actual fundraiser will happen on May 2nd, 2026, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at All Good Beverage Co. in Birmingham. This is the site where you can make donations and purchase tickets.
Each adult ticket (21+) is $60 and covers dinner, 2 drinks, and a raffle entry. Each youth ticket (below 21) is $30 and covers dinner and 2 raffle entries.
